Developed the strategy and creative direction for Beats Running. The current running space is packed with right angles and decimal points. Everything is about data, split times, and images of runners in unnaturally perfect form with high elbows and olympic strides. There’s nothing wrong with this, but when considering how to enter the space, Beats felt like it needed to zag while the others zigged. For Beats, running is about your experience during your run and how music plays a part in that. How certain songs and playlist can push you, or pace set you, and how experimenting with your music influences the outcomes of your run. In essence, how MUSIC = MILES.
